1. If you had to describe yourself in three adjectives, what would those adjectives be and why?
Logical, thorough, paranoid
2. What is your strategy coming into this game?
Well, I haven't decided yet. I think I'm going to try to be more social than I have in the past, but we'll see how it goes.
3. You are joining the game as a "favorite", or relative veteran to the Survivor IMDb series. What advantages and disadvantages do you expect coming into the game as a favorite, and how will you implement those advantages or overcome those disadvantages?
Advantages: Pre-existing relationships (friends), experience, the right mindset
Disadvantages: Pre-existing relationships (rivals), reputation/bigger target, more pressure
As far as pre-existing relationships go, I can make easily alliances with friends (if there are any). If I have any rivals in the game, I can align with them to reduce the likelihood that they'll target me. I'm not too concerned about being considered a threat yet, since I expect there will be other big names from the past returning as well.
4. What kinds of twists and turns do you anticipate this season?
I fully expect the choices from Part 3 below to be used in a challenge at some point :p Other than that, no idea. Tribe swaps, HII, who knows...
5. If you had to label yourself as either a strategic, social, or competitive player, which would you give yourself and why?
If I had to allocate percentages, I think its split 33/33/33. So I'm not ~great~ at any one aspect in particular, but in the end, there isn't a total lack of one that does me in. Does that make sense? I probably just made myself sound like a terrible player.
I'll say though that I need to work on improving my social game. In the past, I had a tendency to shy away from talking to people outside of my alliance because I was afraid I would give something away or my alliance would get suspicious that I was working with that person. I have to not be afraid to do that this time, because the connections I make are probably more likely to benefit than hurt me.
